The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has announced the temporary closure of Terminal 1E at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to allow for rehabilitation work.
The partial closure will begin Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 7:00 a.m., as part of continuous efforts to improve the airport's facilities for a better travel experience.
In a statement, the authority stated that all airlines operating from Terminal 1E would be moved to Terminal 1A during the closure. KAA said this safeguards the safety of both passengers and employees during the renovation process.
"We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time," read the statement in part.
