A press release by the communications Bureau at the Presidency confirmed that ” The event which will be attended by the US Vice President, Kamala Harris, will see the President Akufo-Addo deliver the keynote address at the [African Flagship Programme ] session of the Conference on the theme ” The intersectionality of Ghana’s post-COVID economic development strategy and that of the US”. The National Black Caucus of State Legislators serves as a network, advocate, and catalyst for public innovation, information exchange, and joint action on critical issues affecting African Americans and other marginalized communities. The President who is expected back in the country on Thursday, December 2, 2021, was accompanied by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and some officials at the Presidency.
