Zimbabwe To Host Transform Africa 2023 Summit To Sustain Continent’s Digital Revolution

By Wallace Mawire Zimbabwe is set to host the Transform Africa 2023 summit, the continent's  leading annual forum bringing together global and regional leaders from government, business and international organizations to collaborate on new ways of shaping, accelerating and sustaining Africa’s on-going digital revolution. According to the organizers, following five successful editions, the sixth Summit will take place at the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe on 26 to 28 April,2023. The summit will run run under the theme “Connect, Innovate and Transform.” They say that  Transform Africa Summit aims to enable Member States to become more competitive, agile, open and innovative smart economies. It is also expected to be an opportunity for meaningful engagements on how governments can attract large-scale investments and enable fast growth and exports as well as for the private sector to thrive in an innovation and ICT-driven entrepreneurship ecosystem, hence transform African nations into smart societies. Attendance is expected  from Heads of State and Government, First Ladies, Ministers in ICT, Finance, Trade and Industry and Health, Fintech companies, Block chain experts, Digital health service providers, Artificial Intelligence firms and experts, ICT Private Sector service providers, Telecom and  Utilities Regulators, International and Multilateral organizations, Africa’s business influencers, Investment banks and Venture capitalists, Private equity fund managers, Start ups,  Women and Girls in ICT champions, Tech innovators ,Academia, Consultants and leading digitals leaders ,Non-governmental organizations. Delegates attending are expected to be part of Africa’s leading forum on digital transformation, build relationships to ensure  business participates in Africa’s single digital market, learn about emerging technologies in Africa and how  business can benefit, build relationships with digital health experts for  health policies, catch up on Artificial Intelligence in Africa  and  what it means for  companies, learn from leading experts with relevant presentations that will impact  business today, participate in engaging debate on crypto currency and Africa, discover what’s new and what’s working in FinTech in Africa, support the Women and Girls in STEM through participation and  contribution toward the Smart Girls initiative, broaden  reach and deepen  impact through collaborations in Africa, shaping the digital landscape, getting  insight into country specific SMART AFRICA flagship projects in the Member states and how  companies can be  key players, interacting  and networking  with key decision makers and deal makers.
