Kenya is set to host its 2024 edition of the International Flower Trade Exhibition (IFTEX) on 4 to 6 June,2024.

According to a close source, the event will showcase the latest varieties of Kenyan grown cut flowers available for exports.

This is expected to offer to buyers an excellent opportunity to explore a wider selection of Kenyan-grown flowers.

"Furthermore, not only you will be able to come across the established exhibiting flower growers, but as well a large number of visiting producers,'' the organizers said.

It is also added by the organisers that one of the key objectives of the fairs since its start back in 2012, is to encourage smaller growers to participate in the fair, including those who do not export yet.

The organisers says that with close to 160 confirmed exhibitors to date, including 65 flower growers in 2024, it looks more and more that their goal is being achieved.
They say that the list of pre-registered international flower buyers is showing a steady growth, indicating another busy edition of IFTEX can be expected.

IFTEX is said to have proven to be a premier platform tailored for the international cut flower industry, promoting direct connections from farm to shelf.
The exhibition will take place at the Oshwal Convention Center in Nairobi, Kenya.
