Kenya registered a 2-1 win over Qatar in their international friendly played on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Al Janoub Stadium in the Middle East country.
Kenya got a lead in the 20th minute through Joseph Okumu’s header following a well-delivered corner kick by midfielder Kenneth Muguna.
Qatar equalized in the 34th minute on the spot through Hassan Al-Haydos.
The East African nation sealed the victory in the 91st minute after Captain Olunga orchestrated a brilliant assist to Amos Nondi, who netted the winning goal.
