Kenya Beats Qatar In International Friendly

Kenya registered a  2-1 win over Qatar in their international friendly played on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Al Janoub Stadium in the Middle East country.

Kenya got a lead in the 20^th minute through Joseph Okumu’s header following a well-delivered corner kick by midfielder Kenneth Muguna.

Qatar equalized in the 34th minute on the spot through Hassan Al-Haydos.

The East African nation sealed the victory in the 91st minute after Captain Olunga orchestrated a brilliant assist to Amos Nondi, who netted the winning goal.

Harambee Stars will head back to Kenya on Friday, September 8, 2023, to continue preparations for their match against South Sudan on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at MISC Kasarani, Nairobi.
