Principal Resident Magistrate Rodrick Michongwe based in Malawi capital Lilongwe has ordered Lu Ke, a Chinese national also known as Susu, to leave the Southern African nation within the next seven days.
Additionally, Susu has been found guilty and sentenced to 12 months of hard labor in prison. However, he will not serve the sentence in jail, as the sentence began on July 16, 2022, which was the date of his arrest.
The conviction was based on the charge of procuring children to participate in public entertainment, which is a violation of section 160 (f) of the penal code.
Susu's arrest came about after he fled to Chipata, Zambia, in an attempt to escape the consequences of his actions.
Prior to this, a BBC Africa Eye investigation exposed Susu for exploiting children in his videos and compelling them to chant derogatory statements, like "I am Black and my IQ is low."
During the court proceedings, State Advocate Dzikondianthu Malunda informed the court that Susu had already paid 16 million kwacha as compensation to government to pay the victims.
Furthermore, another portion of the money is set to be allocated to community social responsibility efforts in Njewa Lilongwe.
Susu was charged with 14 counts including procurement of children for use of entertainment, trafficking in children, illegal use of the Internet and harmful social practices.
