Brazilian president Lula da Silva said in Portugal on Saturday that he wants to return to Mozambique to observe the progress of projects implemented with Brazil's help during his first stint as president from 2003-2011.
He mentioned building an antiretroviral drug factory and a school but does not know if they are up and running.
He said quoted by RFI he will visit Africa soon, adding that Brazil cannot pay its debt to Africans in money but will do so in solidarity, brotherhood, aid, and the transfer of knowledge in science and technology.
Brazil and Mozambique have signed several bilateral agreements such as agreements on cooperation in health, education, social policies and public security (2001).
In 2010, both nations signed agreements on air service cooperation and for mutual recognition of driver's license.
In 2015, both nations signed an agreement on cooperation and investment facilitation.
