Speaking at the SLPP North America fund raising event for Bio’s re- election bid in 2023, Francis Senesie said that he and his wife believed in the vision of President Julius Maada Bio Free Quality education scheme which he said has created a lot of impact thus urged citizens to vote for the president in next years’ presidential elections in order to continue his developmental agenda in the country. ‘’ My wife and I, have established a foundation two years ago and it is doing amazingly well. We are taking care of children, helping them with books and school materials. Tonight, on behalf of my wife and our foundation, the Senesie Empowerment Foundation, we will like to donate the sum of $5000 to this cause,’’ he said. He said that, he and his wife believed in education because their parents’ legacy was education which they had told them it will unlock unimaginable opportunities adding today both of them are living testimonies. ‘’ We feel blessed to be able to reach out in kind to those in need. Our family (Wendy and I) is founded on Love and we’ve always found ways to share that love to those we encounter far and near. And, just a little love is what humanity needs, is what the world needs and is what ultimately Sierra Leoneans need. Coming through with the “LITTLE” when one needs it most would go a long way than impressing them with the big stuff when they’re not even interested,’’ CEO Senesie lamented. When asked, why as a foundation they have decided to invest in education, Mr. Senesie replied’’ Both of our late Fathers were teachers all their life and what they handed us was education. Not a plot of land, a house, bank account, high placed god parents to push us up in the social ladder, or a business because, they themselves didn’t have one. In fact, their opinion on acquiring the above without sound education to manage is not guaranteed to sustain. It could be recalled that in October 2020, the Senesie Foundation donated over 80 million Leones worth of school materials in ten schools in the Moyamba District, Southern Region of the country. In addition as part of its efforts to fighting the Covid - 19 pandemic , the foundation also provided assorted food items , face masks , infrared thermometers, sanitary supplies to more than one hundred families and households in the same district. Recently, the foundation , as part of its fulfillment of its mandate it also made a donation of 3 million Leones in response of a financial request from the Faculty of Communication, Media and Information Studies Student’s Association to help raise funds for a final year student diagnosed with Kidney failure. The CEO however ended that  the foundation will continue to do more in area of youth empowerment , education and helping the vulnerable in the country thus assuring ‘’they will invest in the human capital of Sierra Leone’’
