Vice President Saulos Chilima

A plane carrying Malawi’s Vice President Saulos Chilima has gone missing, and at least four hours now have gone.

Chilima was on his way to Nkhatabay district, up north where he was expected to connect to Nkhatabay for the burial of a very prominent lawyer Ralph Kasambala.

It is said the plane has not been traceable in the radar from at least 10 AM until now as the Pan African Visions is reporting (18:00hrs).

Meanwhile, Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera has cancelled his trip to the Bahamas where he would connect to Switzerland.

A statement by the State House says this is upon advice from the Commander in Chief.

The social media has meanwhile created a storm in sympathizing with the Vice President.

This is a developing story and more updates will be shared
