“Among the items are prenatal vitamins for pregnant women, chewable vitamins for children, unisex power readers with various strength levels, as well as separate power readers for females and males. In addition, the container contains essential pharmaceutical products like levothyroxine sodium, used to treat hypothyroidism, and denavir, a medication for cold sores and fever blisters.”

In January this year, The Friendship Circle provided modern hospital beds to five healthcare institutions nestled in the North and South West Regions of Cameroon

This donation follows a recent donation of modern hospital beds to five healthcare institutions nestled in the North and South West Regions of Cameroon. The beneficiaries of this noble gesture encompassed Tiko Health District, Muyuka Health District, Mile 16 Bolifamba Integrated Health Centre, Bobende Health Centre in Limbe, and Mbengwi District Hospital, each receiving a boon that shall enhance their capacity to serve their communities.

According to the president, the shipment includes ChloraPrep Applicators, crucial for disinfecting the skin and preventing infections during invasive medical procedures such as injections, catheter insertions, and surgeries. Sildenafil, a medication for erectile dysfunction, is also part of the donation.

The container holds isolation gowns, level 2 maxi-gard, for use in the ICU and other intensive care situations outside the hospital. The iVisor Shield Blue, a reusable visor and shield kit providing full-face protection against body fluid splatter, is also included.

“This significant contribution would not be possible without the generosity and benevolence of our donors. We express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have contributed, regardless of the amount. Your support has made a tremendous difference,” Njukang Asong, President of the Friendship Circle added.
