Kenya’s giant Gor Mahia registered a 1-0 win over their arch-rivals AFC Leopards in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League match on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi.

The lone goal was scored by Austin Odhiambo in the 29th minute following a mistake by the Leopards custodian.

Gor Mahia faced a tough battle against a determined Ingwe team after their goalkeeper was ejected from the game.

Kevin Omondi received a red card for a foul on AFC Leopards' forward Victor Omune towards the end of the first half.

Caleb Omondi stepped in for Kevin and delivered crucial saves in the second half, helping his team maintain their lead.

Following the victory, the defending champions have opened a nine-point lead at the top ahead of Police FC.
