Zambia:Appointment of Ms Tanya Malama Fooks as UNIP and Presidential Spokesperson

Lusaka, Zambia – 26 March 2024. Bishop Trevor Mwamba, President of The United National Independence Party (UNIP), has announced the appointment of Ms Tanya Malama Fooks as UNIP and Presidential Spokesperson.

Tanya has extensive background in marketing, digital strategy, and marketing campaign management.

She brings over 16 years of invaluable experience to her new role, having excelled in various marketing capacities where she showcased her prowess in customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. She has honed her skills in crafting effective marketing strategies that captivate audiences and elevate brand value.

Throughout her career, Tanya has led targeted marketing campaigns tailored for small businesses, self-employed individuals, and billion-dollar companies alike.

Her expertise extends to membership engagement and retention, evident in her successful tenure at Boundless by CSMA (The Civil Service Motoring Association), where she implemented strategies that bolstered member retention rates and enhanced member engagement.

Tanya’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment as UNIP is reviving, rebranding, and rebuilding its structures in the country by attracting talented youth and women to the Party.

In her new capacity as UNIP and Presidential Spokesperson she will leverage her wealth of experience and dynamic leadership to spearhead the Party’s Vision and Values for the nation.
