Football Kenya Federation (FKF) announced the opening of the mid-season transfer window on Monday.
In a statement, the federation said the transfer applies to FKF Premier League, FKF Women Premier League, FKF National Super League, FKF Women National Super League, and FKF Men and Women Division One Leagues.
The same dates also apply to international transfers, said FKF.
The four-week transfer window will culminate on February 8, 2024.
“Clubs can beef up their squads as they proceed to the second leg of the 2023/24 season before the window closes on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 1700 hours,” read the statement in part.
According to FKF, during the transfer period, only players whose transfers and/or registrations will be completed by Wednesday of every week shall be eligible to play in the weekend matches.
This will allow the competition department ample time to process the licenses.
“Any transfers and/or registrations received after Wednesday will be approved and processed the following week,” added FKF.
