Launch of the International Initiative: GOB – Global Organization for Bridges

October 13, 2025

Inspired by the enlightened vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, in favor of youth mobilization and the strengthening of the Kingdom’s international outreach, the Moroccan Youth Council for Diplomatic and International Cooperation (MYCDIC), under the presidency of Moataz Kobry, has officially launched the GOB – Global Organization for Bridges.

Placed under the direct supervision of the MYCDIC, this initiative constitutes an innovative international platform aimed at mobilizing Moroccan associations and civil society actors around a shared ambition:

To strengthen Morocco’s parallel diplomacy and build a proactive soft power, working through international projects and partnerships that serve the interests of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Parallel Diplomacy Driven by Moroccan Youth

Through GOB, the Council reaffirms its conviction that Moroccan youth are at the heart of tomorrow’s diplomacy.
As bearers of the values of openness, dialogue, and innovation, this generation embodies a forward-looking spirit, ready to actively contribute to the promotion of Morocco’s image, the development of international cooperation, and the consolidation of relations among peoples.

With a network of active and committed members across several countries, MYCDIC works to enhance Morocco’s presence abroad and to give a strong, structured voice to Moroccan youth within diplomatic, academic, and institutional arenas.

A Global Framework to Strengthen the Capacities of Moroccan Associations

GOB also stands out for its practical and results-oriented approach.
It provides Moroccan youth associations and organizations, both in Morocco and abroad, with a set of tools designed to professionalize their actions and enhance their visibility.

Member associations benefit from:

 Digital solutions and technical support (website creation, official email addresses, management tools).
 Access to an international cooperation network, diplomatic training, and mentorship opportunities.
 Connection with institutions, embassies, and international partners.
 Media and communication support to highlight their initiatives and amplify their global impact.

A Sustainable Vision for Citizen Diplomacy

Through this initiative, the Council aims to establish a platform of convergence between youth, diplomacy, and sustainable development, in line with the High Royal Directives.

GOB thus positions itself as an instrument of inclusive and sustainable cooperation, contributing to the promotion of Morocco as an actor of peace, dialogue, and international solidarity.

The President of the Council, Moataz Kobry, stated on this occasion:

“Moroccan youth today embody the diplomacy of tomorrow: a citizen diplomacy that is open, creative, and deeply committed to the values and causes of the Kingdom.”
