Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in Central Africa, has reshuffled his government team. Judith Suminwa Tuluka remains Prime Minister.
The reshuffled team was unveiled on the night of Thursday 07 to Friday 08 2025. While several ministers retain their portfolios, adjustments have been made, and new faces have joined the executive.
Among the main additions: Adolphe Muzito, one of the former Prime Ministers, takes over the reins of the Ministry of the Budget, Floribert Anzuluni is appointed to Regional Integration, Guillaume Ngefa inherits the Justice portfolio, while Marie Niangé Ndambo is in charge of the Environment. Julie Mbuyi takes charge of the Ministry of Portfolio, Micheline Ombahe is appointed to the Ministry of Gender, Family and Children; Grâce Emi Kutinho becomes Minister of Youth, and Eliezer Ntambwe is appointed Minister Delegate for Defense and Veterans.
Some Congolese contacted on this subject have differing opinions.
“May this reshuffle quickly resolve the problem of the war in the East, where millions of Congolese have been for several decades, and may social life improve,” says Sylvie Mukunzi, a primary school teacher.
In her opinion, the Congolese will no longer tolerate the continuation of the war.
“I don’t think this reshuffle will solve all the country’s problems. As far as I’m concerned, it’s just a matter of politicians sharing the spoils”, notes Grégoire Mulangi, a human rights activist.
For his part, Jean Dikoshi, an economic operator, believes that each minister should be judged on the basis of his or her results.
