Succès Masra, former prime minister and leader of Chad’s main opposition party, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Saturday by the High Court in N’Djamena, reported the French news agency, AFP.
Masra was found guilty of “spreading hateful and xenophobic messages” and “complicity in murder” in connection with the Mandakao tragedy, where 42 people were killed last May in an inter-communal conflict.
