A transformative force in Africa’s printing and design industry is returning to Johannesburg as Printing SA launches the Women in Print Series 2025 on August 8, under the powerful theme “Empower, Innovate, Inspire: Shaping the Future Together.”
Now firmly cemented as a flagship movement celebrating women in the print and design sectors, the series promises not just another industry event—but a vibrant platform for leadership, visibility, and innovation.
Building on its successful runs in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, this year’s event will convene over 350 women from across the region—ranging from designers, print technicians, and marketers to executives and entrepreneurs. The initiative has emerged as the annual convergence point for African women shaping the future of print.
“The Women in Print Series is more than just an event; it’s a movement dedicated to elevating women’s voices and leadership within our industry,” said Abisha Katerere, Creator and Head: Business Development & Marketing at Printing SA.
“We believe in the power of collective wisdom and innovation to shape a more inclusive and prosperous future for print.”
The Johannesburg leg will offer attendees a holistic experience that blends professional growth with personal enrichment, setting it apart as a model for modern industry convenings.
The series’ visual aesthetic will carry an avant-garde design theme, blending abstract print styles with digital textures and geometric patterns—a metaphor for the convergence of tradition and future-forward innovation.
