Afrikan Indigenous Leaders (AIL), an organization committed to fostering unity, peace and sustainable development across Africa, says that it is deeply concerned by the escalating violence in Mozambique.
The organization says that the ongoing conflict not only devastates communities and threatens the lives of innocent civilians but also hinders the progress toward a prosperous and united Africa.
They say that as an organization representing traditional leadership and Indigenous values, AIL strongly condemns all forms of violence and calls on all parties involved to prioritize dialogue and peaceful solutions.
‘We urge respect for the dignity, safety, and rights of every Mozambican citizen, emphasizing that true and lasting stability can only be achieved through compassionate and just approaches. Violence is never a solution; we believe that with a commitment to dialogue and mutual respect, peace can be restored and sustained,’AIL said.
Afrikan Indigenous Leaders said that it stands in solidarity with the people of Mozambique and remains committed to supporting efforts toward peace, justice, and community resilience.
The organization has invited traditional leaders, regional authorities and international allies to join them in advocating for peace and creating a legacy of unity and stability across Africa.
