Aarhus-Odden Ferry, Tickets, Schedules

Use our early check-in and receice all your tickets digitally. Breeze right through the check-in terminals and be ready to onboard the ferry, without using the ticket machines. In high season we publish a newsletter filled with inspiration for your next sailing trip.. It is recommended to book tickets in advance, especially in the high season, to secure a place. However, it is also possible to buy tickets at the port. You must check in at the port of Aarhus or Odden at least 20 minutes before departure.

Ferry schedules from Aarhus to Odden

The fastest sailings are approximately 1 hour 20 minutes with Molslinjen. Sailing times can vary between ferry operators and can ODDEN be impacted by weather conditions.

You can register the details about yourself and your fellow passengers in the booking flow when you book your ticket. Your details will be sent to the Danish Maritime Authority, stored during the crossing and deleted automatically when you disembark. Yes, foot passengers can travel with Molslinjen ferries between Odden and Aarhus. Ferry price to Odden depends on various factors such as the route, season, operator and type of ship.

On board the Ferry

There are currently no ferries where you can take your bicycle on board ferries to Odden. As the crossing is relatively short, there are no cabins for overnight stays, but there are comfortable seating areas. Dogs and small pets such as cats can travel as normal on Ferry.

Ferries to Odden sail approximately 11 times daily and 72 times weekly. The MOLSLINJEN app for iOS and Android gives you a full overview of all departues, and it is easy to book and change your ticket. With the app, you also have access to a range of optional purchases to help make your trip even better.

What happens if I am not at the port in time?

This makes it easy to find a crossing to suit your travel plans. Sorry, there is currently no available ferries on this route. Pets are currently not allowed on board the ferries from Odden to Aarhus. Direct Ferries Limited has its registered office in Ipswich, United Kingdom. Sailing duration ranges from 1 hour 30 minutes on the Aarhus service to 1 hour 15 minutes on the Ebeltoft service.

  • The buses run regularly and provide a reliable connection.
  • Sailing times can vary between ferry operators and can be impacted by weather conditions.
  • On weekdays, our first sailing is at 5.30 am, and we sail hourly in the mornings and afternoons so you will have no trouble getting to your meetings on time.
  • The Aarhus-Odden ferry service is currently offered up to 12 times a day.
  • Peter Willemoes served as a lieutenant in the Battle of Sjællands Odde against the English supremacy in 1808.

The most popular route to Odden is Aarhus to Odden, costing around £128.60 and sailing in 1 hour 30 minutes. Ferries sailing to Odden take anywhere from 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on the departure destination. Within walking distance there is a well-known fishing smokehouse with a nice view across the Kattegat, as well as grocery stores with fresh bakery products. On bicycle you can visit Odden Church and visit the grave of naval hero Peter Willemoes.

Public transportation

The return journey with Ferry Odden – Aarhus can also be conveniently booked with Molslinjen. The crossings take place up to 12 times a day, so you can plan flexibly. From there, you can take a train or hire a car to Odden.
