Austin Odhiambo opened the scoring for the former Kenyan champions from a well-lobed set piece beating the Vihiga Bullets goalkeeper's backpedalling effort. Five minutes later, Peter Lwasa extended Gor Mahia’s lead following a superb finish. The visitors responded but were denied by the crossbar from an excellent strike just outside the box. The Ugandan Cranes striker scored his goals in the 51st, 58th and 85th minutes to start his journey at the club in style. Kaddu joined Gor a few days ago from Kampala City after FIFA lifted K'Ogalo's transfer suspension. The win stretched Gor Mahia's lead at the top to 45 minutes after playing 21 games. Gor Mahia's next encounter will be a Wednesday away trip to Sofapaka FC.
