Tanzania: IGP Makes Minor Reshuffle In Police Force

Police Spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SACP) David Misime, said that on a transfer made by IGP, the former Morogoro Regional Police Commander (RPC) Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police (SACP) Fortunatus Muslim will be heading to the Planning Division at the Police Headquarters in Dodoma, the political capital. Others on the reshuffles list include Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Alex Mukama who was the Songwe Regional Police Commander (RPC) to replace SACP Fortunatus Muslim. The statement also said that Rukwa Regional Police Commander, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Theopista Mallya has been transferred to  Songwe Region as Regional Police Commander (RPC). The IGP has also appointed Assistant Police Commissioner (ACP) Shadrack Masija to become the Rukwa Regional Police Commander. ACP Shadrack Masija was the number one Disciplinary Officer in the Simiyu region.
