Mozambican First Lady In Dubai For Merck Foundation Asia-Africa Luminary Conference

By Jorge Joaquim Mozambican First Lady, Isaura Ferrão Nyusi, will take part, from 15 to 16 November 2022, in the 9th Edition of Merck Foundation Africa Asia Luminary 2022, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The event, which will be attended by over 15 African First Ladies, aims to develop programmes in the area of health and education. According to a statement seen by  Pan African Visions, the social impact of the event's decisions will be reflected in the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases, access to health services, combating premature unions and the economic empowerment of women. On this trip, the Mozambican First Lady, who is an ambassador of Merck Foundation's "More than a Mother" Campaign, will be accompanied by staff from her Cabinet and partners.
