The event held in Morogoro town was officiated by Jabir Makame, who represented Morogoro regional commissioner. The training facilitators were Dr. Lilian Mkombachepa, a psychologist from Morogoro Referral Hospital(MRH), Bigambo Bigambo from Tanzania’s Prevention and Combating Corruption Bureau ( PCCB),  Dr. Mwanaidi Lwena, an assistant inspector from Police Tanzania, Prisca Ruphene, program manager at Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights ( SRHR ) and Leone Temba from president's Office Public Service Management and Good Governance. MORUWASA’s CEO, Tamim Katakweba, promised sustainable training for his members since such trainings have contributed to the completion of numerous projects like the Bigwa and Bomela water projects. ‘’ Adhering to gender equity has helped MORUWASA to complete its short-term water projects on time because each gender was given an area of work…I hope that spirit will be the same in completing other big projects before 2025, '' he noted. According to Dr. Mwanaidi Lwena, employees should not hesitate to ask for support in areas of gender issues because some employers use their position to violet one gender. ‘’ A common case for directors and educational sectors where university student is forced to provide sexual intercourse to graduate or given job post,” he said. Representing permanent secretary of the Ministry of water, Severin Mwiliko congratulated MORUWASA's CEO for motivating staff members, saying it will speed up working morality, and ordered other authorities across the country to adopt it. ‘’I congratulate MORUWASA for maintaining gender equity as a ministry of water considered it in the top four positions. The Minister of water is male, while the deputy is female same as to Permanent secretary post. I've realized the completion of water projects in Morogoro region is associated with good governance which adheres to gender equality,’’ he said. More than 200 people attended the training, including directors, engineers, and technicians from Kilosa, Mikumi, Dakawa water service zones, and RuralWater Supply and Sanitation Agency(RUWASA).
