Biden Announces Delegation To Attend Ruto’s Inauguration

By Samuel Ouma U.S. President Joe Biden, on Saturday, September 10, 2022, announced the designation of a Presidential Delegation to attend the Inauguration of His Excellency William Samoei Arap Ruto. The Honorable Katherine Tai, United States Trade Representative, will lead the team. The other members are the United States Kenya Ambassador Meg Whitman, Colin Allred, the United States Representative Texas, the Honorable Mary Catherine Phee, Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of African Affairs, U.S. Department of State, and Monde Muyangwa, Assistant Administrator for the Bureau for Africa, U.S. Agency for International Development. The inauguration will take place on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani, outskirts of Nairobi.
