Zimbabweans Bemoan Hike in Prices of Basic Commodities

Speaking to Pan African Visions in Harare on Thursday after a press briefing in eloquent tones of consumer rights at a fair note in point to face the reality of these injustices Kudzai Mwanakasamwa taking active stance against these injustices said these distortions are causing economic in-stability. This goes deep further to increase poverty among the people. ‘’These price distortions are causing economic instability. There are unjustified commodity increase caused by skyrocketing parallel market caused by economic saboteurs who are bent on destroying our country’’. ‘’Urgent attention is needed’’, snarls Kudzai in perfect tone s of fairness towards consumers, the general public struggling to survive. ‘’We are aware that even those who are benefiting from the auction rate are the same culprits charging goods using parallel market rate. You are starving, killing your own brothers and sisters’’ ‘’We warn you again to stop it forthwith. As a way forward , we want to inform you that this is just a warning , moving forward , we are going to engage financial intelligence , other law enforcement  and security agencies’’ ‘’To expose these oligarchies, foreign currency shady deals. To ensure this, we do it through advocacy. Those brought to book will face wrath of the law’’ He further said the campaign shall push for the seizure of licenses to those businesses found on the wrong side of the law. This economic sabotage has been the work of those who are bent on destroying the nation at the larger extent an expense of most poverty stricken and vulnerable perfect people who are innocent to the bone.
