Kenyans Win Boston Marathon Titles

Kenyan Evans Chebet bagged the Men’s 2022 Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18, 2022.
Chebet clock two hours, six minutes and 51 seconds. His compatriots Lawrence Cherono and Benson Kipruto second and third. Cherono took 2 hours, seven minutes and 21 seconds while Kipruto clock 2 hours, seven minutes and 27 seconds.
Elsewhere, Peres Jepchirchir won women’s title in 2:21:01 ahead of Ethiopia’s Ababel Yeshaneh who took 2:21:06. Kenya’s Mary Ngugi came third in 2:21:32.
