President Emmerson Mnangagwa made a life time breakthrough early day after dawn on the 5th of August on Thursday. He launched a book authored by Eddie Cross. Eddie is former MDC Alliance Bulawayo legislator.
The book titled “A Life of Sacrifice” sold 40, 000 copies at the time if the launch. It costs US 15 each. The copies were bought by individuals and companies.
After the virtual launch almost 50, 380 Copies had been bought. The distribution is through @InfoMinZW.
The prolific and dilated of all times illustrates the life history of a liberator who dedicated and sacrificed to die for worthy cause and reason beyond treason and political sell out.
President Mnangagwa who escaped death by whisker when he was supposed to be in prison jailed for crimes in spate of juvenile delinquency was relieved and spared for reasons of youthful age by that time .
In an ecstatic assembly of effortful words in confidence he read.” I Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa , my maternal side links Rozvi Dynasty .My father Mafidhi was son of Kushanduka , grandson of Chief Mapanzure , son of Chief Chivi of Shumba Murambwi totem.”
Contacted for a comment by the Pan-African-Visions his spokesperson George Charamba pointed out that the much prolific book takes a walk through into a vision of the leader who is now the President of the country.
“It carries and records tumulous life of a fighter who escaped noose by a whisker to suffer 10 years jail”.
“A Life of Sacrifice takes a walk down memory lane of an icon’ Life, a man who made it to liberate this country”.
The Writer and author Eddie Cross said he takes this as one of the great privileges in his life. He tracks down the life history of a leader who did it from early days up to this day.
“Its one of the great privileges in my life. I realized you are a supreme debater. I know what it is to be a prisoner. Today we acknowledge your role for what you have been doing and still doing for the nation”. He said.
The book carries and contains historical artefacts that archives the life of President Emmerson Mnangagwa .He is among the great of Zimbabwean liberators recorded in history ever. He was accompanied by his wife First Lady Auxilliah Mnangagwa, Chief Secretary Dr Misheck Sibanda, the publishers and Author Eddie Cross.
