L’ancien président de la Commission électorale nationale indépendante (CENI), le pasteur Ngoy MULUNDA a exprimé un sentiment de joie lors de l’arrivée du sénateur Joseph Kabila ce vendredi 18 décembre à Lubumbashi en provenance de la ville de Kolwezi, toujours dans le grand Katanga.

Faisant suite de la délégation restreinte qui a accueilli Joseph Kabila Kabange, ce leader du coin, en tout cas, n’a pas pu retenir ses émotions.

 »C’est une impression de joie. Il est venu chez nous, il avait raté la dernière fois, il n’est pas arrivé et nous sommes rentrés très déçus. Il est arrivé ici à Lubumbashi, c’est un sentiment de consolation. Malgré les mesures sanitaires prises par les autorités, nous sommes venus l’accueillir avant d’entrer dans la ville. La RDC lui doit tout : la paix,la cohésion nationale« , persiste cet ancien président de la CENI.

Et sans lâcher un souffle il ajoute,  »avant qu’il ne vienne au pouvoir, on avait quatre pays. La RDC lui doit la démocratie et la constitution. Ce pays lui doit être reconnaissant en le respectant, en l’honorant, on ne peut pas jouer avec ce qu’on a« , insiste-t-il.

Pour lui, l’autorité morale du Front Commun pour le Congo (FCC) est le parrain des élections démocratiques que la RDC avait connues successivement pendant les trois derniers cycles.

 »Les gens ne connaissent pas le prix de la paix,le prix de l’unité nationale. Nous nous sommes battus depuis la conférence nationale souveraine,on n’a jamais eu les élections,mais lui a fait 3 cycles des élections. On n’aurait jamais eu ça mais lui,nous l’a donné. Donc on doit le recevoir en signe de reconnaissance », précise-t-il.

Il sied de souligner que l’arrivée de Joseph Kabila à Lubumbashi intervient dans un contexte basé sur la dissolution de l’accord FCC-CACH qui, jusqu’à présent dirige le pays après la destination de la présidente du bureau de l’Assemblée nationale que conduisait Jeanine Mabunda.
