A UK Leading Tech Startup – Atom Learning – Enters Africa Education Space in Partnership with Neogenics Education Group in Ghana.

The award-winning UK based tech start-up, Atom Learning, launched less than two years ago is already used by over 40% of UK prep schools. Atom combines the highest-quality teacher-made content with AI to reduce teacher workload and materially boost learner outcomes.

Atom Learning was launched by Jake O’Keeffe and Alex Hatvany who became frustrated by the inequality in education provision in the UK and elsewhere. They see huge potential for technology to reduce the gap in attainment between the most and least privileged.

Atom Learning Partnering with Neogenics

Neogenics Education Group in Ghana on 8th July 2020, becomes the first Education Consultancy firm in Africa to work with Atom Learning to extend the learning platform to schools in Ghana for free throughout the summer holidays.

The self-diagnostic learning platform ensures “non-subject experts can run productive lessons and improves dialogue between parents and teachers”.

Atom Prime reduces teacher workload, supports teachers in managing mixed ability classes, ensures non-subject experts can run productive lessons and improves dialogue between parents and teachers. 

The Start-up is already in partnership with more than 500 schools across the UK including large Multi-Academy Trusts such as the David Ross Education Trust (DRET) where it has been incorporated into the work schedules for English, Maths and Reasoning skills. 

Speaking to the press Grant Bulmuo, the Lead Consultant of Neogenics Education Group, expressed his desire to see all children in Ghana given equal access and opportunity in education so they can do more to achieve their dreams.

Alex Hatvany, co-founder of Atom Learning, said “we’re extremely excited to work with Neogenics Education to bring our technology to as many schools in Ghana as possible. We believe this can have a profound impact on academic attainment and confidence levels while reducing teacher workload.”
