Ghana’s cases stands at 195 confirmed cases, 5 deaths, 3 fully recovered and 49 under home management
The Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) says it is highly disappointed in banks in Ghana after they refused to grant its member loan payment deferment amidst global coronavirus economics crisis. GUTA has requested that banks allow for loan repayments to be deferred for six months
The Ministry of Health has begun employment of all 2017/18 batch of nursing trainees into various health facilities across the country in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It may be recalled that, some of these year groups havebeen calling on government for their permanent postings

British airways which has already grounded much of its fleet due to the coronavirus crisis, has reached a deal with the union to suspend up to 80% of staff. This includes cabin crew, ground staff, engineers and those working at head office who will have their jobs suspended but no staff are expected to be made redundant . The two sides have reached a broad deal but are yet to sign on some details.
