Following its release on Thursday, March 1, 2018, the NigeriaPresslog Media Resource (NMR) has continued to receive rave reviews and high profile endorsements from notable personalities and influencers across diverse sectors.

Titled ‘Through the Clutter: How to Get Free Media Publicity in Nigeria’, the resource is a 24-page compendium detailing the thoughts and ideas of young, influential professionals in the Nigerian media space.

“The media and public relations industries are going through an interesting phase: turbulent for those averse to change and innovation; promising for those who passionately embrace new ideas and technology,” said Ayeni Adekunle, founder/CEO of BHM. “I find this effort by Isime Esene timely and extremely important, coming at a time when practitioners in Nigeria desperately need the kind of information that this report provides. I do hope we all take advantage of it, as we continue to work together to build the industry of our dreams.”

BudgIT co-founder, Oluseun Onigbinde described it as “an excellent book for entrepreneurs and communication managers who seek to use media effectively in advancing their brand. It is a masterful piece of important ideas from doers within the Nigerian space.”

On his part, Dr. Ikechukwu Obiaya, Dean School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University said the content will increase brand visibility for end users.

“This publication certainly lives up to its name,” Obiaya said. “In an increasingly busy mediascape, the practical tips offered for cutting through the clutter will enhance brand visibility for anyone that takes them seriously. It also serves as a good introduction to the principles that should guide the fascinating field of PR.”

Other media professionals who spoke on the importance of the media resource include Japheth Omojuwa, chief strategist, Alpha Reach; Taiwo Kola-Ogunlade, communications and PR manager, Google West Africa; Nseobong Okon-Ekong, deputy editor, ThisDay Newspapers; Daphne Akatugba, head of digital marketing, Sterling Bank Plc.; Stanley Azuakola, editor-in-chief, ScoopNG; and Mercy Abang, United Nations Journalism Fellow.
