The Chelsea duo are expected in the country on Wednesday ahead of Friday’s testimonial game in honour of the former Super Eagles’ captain
Chelsea’s John Terry and John Mikel Obi will arrive Nigeria on Wednesday for the Joseph Yobo Centenary Game scheduled for Friday, May 27, Goal has exclusively gathered.
The duo is expected to feature in the testimonial match for the Nigerian legend slated for 4pm at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
A top source informed Goal that the England star and the Super Eagles’ skipper will land in Lagos on Wednesday before departing for Port Harcourt on Friday and are expected to return to England on Saturday evening.
However, the travel details of former Everton manager David Moyes remained sketchy.
Meanwhile, Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike have arrived Nigeria as well as Danny Shittu while Ahmed Musa is still expected for the game.
Awaited top African stars include Didier Drogba, Samuel Eto’o, the Ayew Brothers, Sulley Muntari, Djibril Cisse and Tresor Lualua, amongst others.
