By Ajong Mbapndah L [caption id="attachment_26852" align="alignleft" width="100"] Lida Fitts[/caption] There is unprecedented interest from American companies on doing business in Africa says Lida Fitts, Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa for the U.S Trade and Development Agency,USTDA. Interviewed in the course of her participation at the recent Power Africa Summit in Washington,DC, Lida Fitts said the USTDA has funded about five hundred projects across Africa in the last thirty years. The Agency has over the years provided a number of grants to partners in Africa including Aliko Dangote at one point said Ms Fitts.
