Optimism at all time high for U.S companies on doing business in Africa-Lida Fitts

By Ajong Mbapndah L [caption id="attachment_26852" align="alignleft" width="100"]Lida Fitts Lida Fitts[/caption] There is unprecedented interest from American companies on doing business in Africa says Lida Fitts, Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa for the U.S Trade and Development Agency,USTDA. Interviewed in the course of her participation at the recent Power Africa Summit in Washington,DC, Lida Fitts said the USTDA has funded about five hundred projects across Africa in the last thirty years. The Agency has over the years provided a number of grants to partners in Africa including Aliko Dangote at one point said Ms Fitts. The Agency is open to doing business with more partners , Ms Fitt said, while offering insight into the kind of projects that will typically fly and general prospects of business ties between USA and Africa in the years ahead. https://soundcloud.com/multimedia-podcast/interview-with-lida-fitts-of-ustda
