Car bombings have struck two hotels in a central district of the Somali capital Mogadishu before gunmen entered one the hotels and started shooting, sources told Al Jazeera.
“We believe they are al-Shabab fighters. So far we understand they killed four people inside the hotel,” said Nur Ali, a police officer, told Reuters news agency on Friday, adding fighting was still going on inside.
