Second Katanga Business Meeting in the Democratic Republic of the Congo
April 4, 2015
The second Katanga Business Meeting will be held from 28 to 30 May 2015 in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo
The Katanga Business Meeting (KBM) , the region’s largest business meeting, is held in the DRC, a dynamic country where GDP grew by 8.3% in 2013. This event aims to offer a meeting space for small and medium-sized businesses as well as large enterprises in order to generate concrete business opportunities and promote the emergence of a versatile and complementary professional network.
The KBM, organised by Musal Sarl with the support of the Government of the Province of Katanga, offers a 7000-square-metre exhibit space, made fully available to the 5000 visitors and 160 enterprises expected at the trade fair.
The 9 most emerging business sectors in the region are represented: agriculture, automotive and equipment, banking and finance, infrastructure and construction, IT and telecom, mining and industry, services to individuals, services to professionals, transport and logistics. This trade fair addresses both the need expressed by small and medium-sized businesses for a space to raise awareness of their services, and the need identified by large businesses for accessible and competent local subcontractors and partners.
Alongside the exhibit spaces, visitors and exhibitors at KBM will also be able to take part in conferences and workshops organised on themes that directly concern businesses active in the DRC, such as legal and regulatory issues, energy supply, human resource management, the business climate, public-private partnerships, the development of key industrial segments, and many more.
The KBM is organised by Musal SARL, a dynamic communications agency based in Lubumbashi since 2008, which offers its customers useful promotional products for the development and growth of their businesses. Musal’s approach is based on an analysis of the needs and specifications of each customer, combined with a thorough knowledge of the Congolese market.
