BUEA, PAV – The Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement, CPDM is set to celebrate its 41st anniversary on March 24, 2026, with activities across the country focused on reinforcing party unity and strengthening support for its national leadership.
This year’s commemoration is held under the theme: “Let us prepare to further consolidate the strength and position of the Party behind the National President,” a message that stresses the ruling party’s emphasis on cohesion and loyalty as Cameroon approaches a critical political period.
Celebrations are expected to take place in major cities, including Yaoundé, Douala, and Buea, with party militants, sympathisers, and officials mobilised for rallies, marches, and political meetings.
The anniversary comes at a time when the CPDM, Cameroon’s dominant political force since its creation in 1985, continues to position itself as the anchor of stability and continuity in the country’s political landscape. The 41st anniversary offers an opportunity to reflect on past achievements while preparing for future challenges.
In various localities, regional and divisional delegations of the party have been organising preparatory meetings, sensitisation campaigns, and grassroots mobilisation efforts aimed at ensuring a strong turnout for the celebrations.
The chosen theme highlights a strategic priority for the CPDM: consolidating internal cohesion and rallying members behind the leadership at a time when national and political dynamics continue to evolve.
