Tanzania : Tricycle drivers applaud ENGEN’s promotion as a life game-changer

ENGEN has been operating in Tanzania for the past 20 years making it one of the most established and innovative providers of premium quality petroleum products as well as established convenience stores. Anacleth Peter, one of two winners in the Morogoro region, revealed the fact after Marketing and communication manager, Grace Kijo handed over a refrigerator while Fahad Bachabou, Engen Morogoro town dealer handing over a flat-screen 45 inches. The handing over ceremony held today April 27^th  in the Morogoro region, included police traffic officials, municipal council authorities, and commuter bus owners. Peter who operates the town center in bigwa ward, said he engaged in the competition  14 days ago as a joke but he wondered to be confirmed as a winner in the first draw that was scheduled for three months, from March to May. ‘’ This fridge is my life game-changer from it I’ll supply cold water at my working station as well as to my neighbors because depending on one source of income is a risk to a young man like me,’’ he revealed. For his part, Amos Limo who won the flat screen, said since the community is interested in sports particular soccer, he targets to launch a TV station because the size of the screen and the quality of the pictures assured him to get more customers. ‘’ I’m still participating in ENGEN game and hope I’ll score the coming draw in May. Thanks, Engen management in Morogoro and head office because have two sources of income now,’’ he said. Kijo mentioned the winners and their awards in first draw 2022  from different regions as, Kassimu Moto a Dar es Salaam city resident won a fridge and Peter Asanga flat screen while in Arusha city Wilfredy Ayo won a fridge followed by  Edmund Mponda from Njombe won fridge. But Lindi region is blessed with two winners namely Mahmud Mataka who won a flat screen and Athuman Chepele fridge and the last one Shaban Issa Mtwara region’s resident won a fridge. Fahad pledged Morogoro residents to continue with the competition because the second draw will be in may and promised to offer a vehicle in coming days because residents showed cooperation since ENGEN started in the Morogoro region. ‘’ Apart from this promotion, ENGEN still supports the six regime under President Samia Suluhu Hassan to curb the rise of accidents, fatalities, and injuries because Bank data indicates that 250,00 Africans are killed on the road every year. To fulfill it ENGEN not only in Morogoro but across the country offers fuels, lubricants, cards payment services, shops, and other services ‘’ he added.
