Rwanda : Aissa Touré nommée Cheffe du Bureau-pays de la BAD

 Le groupe de la Banque Africaine de de Développement annonce la  nomination de  Aissa Touré comme  Cheffe du Bureau-pays de  l’institution au Rwanda.

Aissa Touré est économiste et spécialiste du développement. La sénégalaise était jusque-là directrice-pays du Fonds international de développement agricole (Fida) pour le Burundi.

Aissa Touré c’est avant tout une expérience de plus de 25 ans acquise sur trois continents, dans 12 pays et pour le compte de cinq organisations internationales. Son parcours professionnel couvre le développement rural, en particulier l’agriculture, l’économie rurale, l’adaptation et l’atténuation du climat.

Avant cette nomination, Aissa a occupé les fonctions de représentante de WaterAid (2003-2007) et de directrice adjointe pour l’Afrique de l’Ouest d’Oxfam America (2007-2009). Elle a également travaillé à l’Observatoire du Sahara et du Sahel (OSS) en tant que coordinatrice du programme de recherche pour le développement, de 2009 à 2010. De 2009 à 2011, elle a aussi travaillé sur les thématiques du changement climatique et du financement, ainsi que sur le suivi et l’évaluation des projets en qualité de consultante.

En 2011, l’économiste sénégalaise a rejoint le Fonds international de développement agricole en tant que responsable de programme pour le Togo, la Guinée-Bissau et la Guinée équatoriale, puis a été nommée responsable de programme pour l’Inde et le Népal au sein de la même organisation (2016-2018). Avant sa récente nomination par la Banque, elle était directrice-pays du Fida pour le Burundi depuis juillet 2018.

Aissa Touré est titulaire d’un Diplôme d’Etudes Supérieures Spécialisées (D.E.S.S.) en secteur rural, développement d’entreprises et gestion de projets de transformation alimentaire (1993), d’un Master en Economie et Ingénierie du Financement de Projets (1992), d’une licence en Economie et Ingénierie du Financement de Projets (1991) et d’une licence en Economie Rurale (1990), tous obtenus à l’université de Montpellier I, en France. A la Banque africaine de développement, Aissa apporte des compétences solides en matière de gestion stratégique, de représentation institutionnelle et de gestion des partenariats aux niveaux national, régional et mondial, souligne le communiqué annonçant sa nomi
