The short  bilateral meeting  emphasised the importance of consolidating Historical ties of solidarity and mutual support among Party members . This is strengthened by respect , dignity and integrity preservation at Party levels in the Region .

Obert Mpofu made a straight point that Zimbabwe does not have a crisis but challenge . He pointed out that the country needs help in terms of removal of sanctions , creation of Global partnerships , unity of purpose for economic development and  consolidating gains of the Liberation struggle of the two countries .

''Zimbabwe does not have a Crisis but we have a challenge . It is the problem of sanctions that makes us be at where we are . We need moral  support in terms of removal of sanctions in the country . After that we create good relations with these countries . Unity of purpose builds for us purpose for economic development and consolidating gains of Liberation struggle''.

ANC Secretary General Elias Magashule read to the delegates and media what they had resolved during half of the day . Two parties agreed ..

Strengthening long standing ties between the two parties . The strengthening of solidarity remained at the top of priorities through the force of regional intergration . They took a swipe on crime and corruption so as to create confidence in the party .Parties to consolidate and defend gains of the revolution and people's struggle .

He pointed out on the crafting of economic programs as a way-forward in allieviation of hunger , poverty and vulnerability . The need to watch on social media to stop the parties get destroyed by wrong information .. Committment to self-introspection , renewal of values of trust , accountability , openess and honesty remains mainstay in parties .

'' Strengthening of ties is always our goal as we move on . Let us look forward where we go and reach our destination united by regional intergration . The need to foster economic growth and development help us reduce poverty and vulnerability and fighting hunger .

''Economic sanctions remains detrimental . That is why we are pushing to see change in Zimbabwe . We want to make sanctions go . We want to empower women and youth . Particularly , let us meet regularly and  look at issues that affect people as mass  ,  nation of one people .

Parties agreed to co-operate on key issues of common interest such as Trade  , Migration , Covid-19 , Climate Change , Education , Health  and Defence . Unlike expected by millions of Zimbabweans , the meeting sidelined opposition political parties .
