The four day event will run from September 10 to 13 in the Kenya’s second capital city, Mombasa. 250, 000 delegates across the global are expected to attend. The summit will impart knowledge on participants on how to advance performance of both individual practitioners and organisations within the supply chains. It is also set to help Kenya on how to develop procurement and supply chain at a global level during the event that will take place in Africa for the first time. The Kenya Institute of Supplies Management, a national body for professionals in the practice of procurement and supplies management, the host, is already preparing for the historic event. IFPSM is a global body of institutions engaged in procurement and supply chain management. It has 45 member countries with four being African.
