2019: Buhari, Atiku are Siamese twins of failure, disappointment – Ezekwesili

October 30, 2018

By Olayinka Ajayi The presidential candidate of Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, ACPN, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili has described the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP as the same party that has disappointed the Nigerian people since the civilian dispensation. Speaking during a world press conference organised by ACPN in Lagos yesterday, the former World Bank Vice President reiterated the need for the electorates to see both APC and PDP as same political party with no difference. According to her: “Everything we are seeing is just between two evil, no serious question was asked about their success and track records. There should be a presidential debate to discuss ideas on a competitive environment but yet they promised change. But where is this change? The same PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubarkar and the failed APC and its candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari are one and the same. Siamese twins of failure, disappointment and destruction. I am the only candidate of ACPN that represent the Nigerian people. They are old men with old ideas. That is why I am running for the office of president. To lead the people that will terminate bad leadership and fight for every Nigerian. No international leader will refer to me as lifeless as i am competent enough to stand shoulder to shoulder with any leader in the world. I am free to travel to any part of the world as I am not being accused of corrupt practices in any part of the world. “There is no difference between the PDP and the APC as they are the Siamese twins of failure and bad leadership. APC and PDP are not two parties but a single party with one single candidate and that candidate name is BUTIKU because Buhari and Atiku are co-joined from head to toe. There is no lesser evil in BUTIKU, attempting to choose between these two is like asking to choose death by poison or death by gunshot. We cannot not think of taking power from one oppressor and handing over to another oppressor. A bad tree cannot bear good fruits.” The ACPN Presidential candidate however urged the Nigerian electorates to rise to their responsibilities by ensuring that their dream presidential candidate emerge come 2019. “ We have reached a point of no return, I am the 21th century David facing the Goliath as I am running to disrupt the old order of our political system. I am interested in building the Nigeria of our dream. This may be my toughest fight as the time of the Nigerian people has already come,” she said.
